DIRECTOR OF THE BAND

The director of the band is David L. Mossbarger. A Ross county native and retired bandmaster of Adena High School. David graduated from Ohio State University in 1967 where he played in both the concert and marching bands. His next two years were spent at Wichita State University where he was awarded a Master's degree in Music Education. While at Wichita State, David wrote all of the marching band shows, directed the pep band at the basketball games, and was Rehearsing Director for the concert band. David and his wife Joan have two sons and reside in Frankfort, Ohio.
